Obituary of Robert J. Petersen

Robert J. Petersen, Jr., 49, passed away August 28, 2016 after a short illness. Born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, Rob was an area resident since 2000. Rob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, earned his Bachelor Degree from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania and his Masters Degree from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. Rob was an active member of Stow Presbyterian Church and was a Cognitive Skills Teacher with Oriana House. Preceded in death by his parents and a sister, he is survived by his wife of 18 years, Elizabeth; sister, Nancy (Steve) Brandt; niece, Juliette; and nephew, Noah. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 11 am at Stow Presbyterian Church, 4150, Fishcreek Rd., Stow, Ohio 44224 with a luncheon immediately following.
