Obituary of Barbara J. Ollis

Barbara J. Chomik Buettner Ollis Barbara J. Ollis, of Stow, born May 3, 1947 in Parma, went to be with the Lord on September 11, 2016, with her loving family by her side after a short illness. Daughter of the late John & Katherine Chomik, she leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 21 years, Orville Ollis; sisters, Kathleen (Ken) Emley and Joann (Tom) Fortenbaugh; her loving son, Brian (Jennifer) Buettner; and daughter, Justine (Bob) Fiehn; step-daughter, Jessica (Ben) Korman; grandchildren, Zoe, Nathan, Sophia, and Sienna; her “overly-loved” dog, Sammy; many nieces and nephews and their families; former husband, Wayne Buettner; and many caring and dear friends. She was an active member of Stow Community Church and The Acker-Moore Memorial Post Auxiliaries. Family will receive friends Monday, September 19, from 4 to 8 at Stow Community Church, 1567 Pilgrim Dr., Stow, OH, 44224. Church service will take place on Tuesday, September 20 at 11 a.m. at the Stow Community Church. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday night, September 24th from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Acker-Moore Memorial Post, 3733 Fishcreek Rd., Stow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stow Community Church or VNS Hospice.
