Obituary of Jack C. Presutti

April 1, 1939 - September 29, 2016 Jack Charles Presutti passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016. Jack was born on April 1,1939 in Wellsville, OH to the late Nick and Jennie (Giuliani) Presutti. He was Senior class president of Wellsville High School class of 1956. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ohio State University in 1963 and was a forever Buckeye fan. Jack was a resident of Stow for 40 years, where he raised his family along with his loving wife and caretaker Kaye, to whom he was married 53 years. When he first came to the Akron area, he was employed by Goodyear Aerospace, later he retired from General Tire after 25 years, and subsequently retired from IBM. He enjoyed meeting friends at the Carovillese Club. Jack was an avid runner and enjoyed going to the Natatorium. He delighted in traveling to Italy, the Caribbean, Mexico, Costa Rica, Canada, our natural parks and across the U.S. His greatest joy was being with his children and grandchildren. Jack was talented and self taught in residential construction, a skill he readily shared with his family and many friends. He built several new homes and refurbished and flipped several more. Jack will be lovingly missed by his daughter, Andrea and her husband Craig of Cuyahoga Falls, his son, Stephen and his wife Kim, sister Jean of Carbondale, IL and five grandchildren: Caidrea, Canter, Annalisse, Anthony and Katie. In addition to his parents Jack was preceded in death by his younger sister Judy (Presutti) Corsello. The family will be present to receive friends on Saturday, October 15th from 3 to 5 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Rd., Stow, OH 44224. The family would like to thank the people at Saracare in Stow for their many years of love and care. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Area Agency on Aging, Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service or Saracare Adult Day Care of Stow.
