Obituary of Howard F. Williams

STOW – Howard F. Williams, 93, died March 4, 2017. Born in Akron, he had been a Stow resident since 1955. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Howard was a member of the Acker-Moore VFW American Legion Post in Stow and the Kent American Legion Post 496. Preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth, he is survived by his children Roberta Roszkowski of Stow, Bonnie (Michael) Housley of Cuyahoga Falls, Connie Thayer, and Sue (Bob) Andreotti, both of Norridge, IL, Sally Williams of Westmont, IL, Michael (Judith) Rodgers of Buckeye, AZ; grandchildren Elizabeth, Michelle, John, and Jamie; great-grandchildren Elena, Christine and Sarah and great-great-granddaughter, Lucille. . . . We cried the day you passed away, the pain still hurts, we cried today. Although we loved you dearly, we couldn’t make you stay. A loving heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best . . . Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday 5 to 8 PM, where Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Tuesday 1 PM. Burial Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
