We are saddened at the loss of Heidi. She was a great friend and teaching associate of our daughter Karen who was so interested in making preschool a great experience for the children. We met Heidi several times when helping our daughter prepare her classroom for the coming year and will never forget her welcoming smile and cheerfull attitude. You and your family are in our thoughts at this difficult time.

To the family, sorry for your loss. May Gods word the Bible, along with family and friends, provide comfort and support, during your time of sorrow, too help ease some of the pain. Jehovah God hates death. He views death as an enemy. 1 Corinthians 15:26. His son Jesus Christ said at John 5:28,29 "Do not be amazed at this, because all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out " so we have a promise and a hope of seeing our love ones again.

Heidi was absolutely a beautiful person and fantastic teacher, taken way too soon. My daughter,Mackenzie, was fortunate enough to have her as a pre-k teacher for 2+ years. She loved Heidi! There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Heidi was. My heart goes out to the family and those beautiful girls. May god give you all strength to get through this most difficult time.

I'm so sadden to hear of Heidi's passing. I worked with her at Panchos when she was going to school. I always remembered her as a likable, fun, hardworking, cute, and nice person! Last time i saw her was September of 2011, at my wife's funeral. She too was taken away as a young woman by cancer. And, like Heidi, leaving behind 2 young daughters. I remember her giving me a hug that night. So....for Matt, her children, her parents, siblings, and extended family and close friends....my heart goes out to you. You, undoubtedly, will be given hundreds of condolences and prayers and thoughts..all of which will be appreciated, I know. But, because I have been in such a similar life event, I will leave those comments to others that can express them better than I. I will simply say......Heidi's life was significant and full. She impacted untold people. Her memory will live on. Remember and reflect on her and her life as often as you can. Love those girls. The best thing you can do is to love them. And, even though her uniqueness as human being is gone, you not only have the memories-----you have a big part of Heidi in those girls!! And you'll always have that! Again....so sorry.

God's Garden
God looked around his garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew that you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered “Peace be thine.”
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone…
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
