Obituary of Kenneth E. Maxwell
STOW – Kenneth E. Maxwell, 80, passed away March 22, 2017.
Born in Cleveland, Kenneth was a Stow resident since 2004. He graduated from Collinwood High School in 1955 and served in the Navy Reserve from 1955 to 1963. Kenneth was a hard worker who would hold multiple jobs including repairing electronics and installing and servicing X-ray equipment for over 40 years, retiring from Philips in 2004. Kenneth enjoyed spending time with his children, including being involved with the Cub Scouts, Indian Princesses, and teaching them about constellations. Kenneth loved life and had a great sense of humor. He also enjoyed amusement parks, Cleveland Sports - especially the Cleveland Indians and was a member of the Parma Jaycees.
Preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Martha Maxwell; siblings, Betty and Claude; he is survived by his children, Michael (Gloria) Maxwell, Christine (Gary) Flanagan, Dana Maxwell and Maria (Tom) Milner; grandchildren, Brian, Kristin, Shannon, Jeffrey, Steven, Daniel, Benjamin and Alex; step-sons, Steven and Dante; many nieces and nephews; and former co-workers and friends, Bill Sweet and Dave Reming.
