Obituary of Sandra L. Clum

We lost our beloved and remarkable wife, mother, Grammie, aunt and friend on March 31, 2017 due to Alzheimer's. Sandra, of Silver Lake OH, was born in Torrance, CA, on October 29, 1947. Sandra enjoyed a very successful career in food service management, including long stints serving Progressive Insurance and The Cleveland Clinic. She and her team brought satisfaction and praise from corporate CEOs and both U.S. and foreign country leaders. Sandra had an amazing ability to connect with those around her and had a passion to help bring out the best in them. We continue to be amazed by countless stories of those lives that have been changed for the better because of her. She was preceded in death by her father; mother; and sisters, Sylvia Valarik and Betty Roy. She is survived by her husband, Mike; daughter, Shelly (Chris) Colla; and sons, Chris Lever and Nick (Andrea) Lever; her 9 grandchildren, Meredith and Allison Colla; Parker, Paige and Jenna Lever; and Joseph, Evan, Caleb & Griffin Lever will miss her dearly; as well, she leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends. In memory of Sandra, we ask that you hug your loved ones and let them know their importance to you. Life is too short not to enjoy. A special thanks goes out to all the staff at Sunrise of Cuyahoga Falls and also to Hospice of Western Reserve. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life is planned for May 21,2017.
