Otto Bosshard

Obituary of Otto Bosshard

Don't mourn for me as I have been transformed from my "natural body" to my "spiritual body" and am now in the presence of God. I will miss greatly my wife of 54 years, Claudia, and my two exceptional sons, Brad and Eric. They and their children, Derek and Zack and Claudia, Camille and Griffin, brought boundless joy into my life. Their wives, Darcie and Karin, were very special to me. In addition to my wife and children, I am survived by my brothers, Bill and Tom. I will miss reading and studying God's word, now I am hearing those words from the Author directly. It was 1977 when a dear friend invited me to a home Bible study, and I learned what God requires of us to ensure a joy-giving personal relationship on Earth, and the guarantee of eternity with Him. John 14:6 clearly states "the only way to the Father is thru the Son." My last wish is that you consider a personal relationship with the God who IS and not the gods you create. Please read the Gospel of John. Rev. Knute Larson will conduct service Friday 11 AM at The Chapel, 135 Fir Hill, Akron 44304, where friends may call Thursday from 3 to 7 PM. Private burial Westfield Center Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Otto Bosshard Scholarship Fund at CVCA, 4687 Wyoga Lake Road, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44224.
