Obituary of Barbara Lee Faulkner (nee Adams)

Barbara Lee Adams Faulkner, 89, passed away May 12, 2017 in Hudson, Ohio.

Barbara was born in Crittenden County, Kentucky to James Henry and Thelma Estelle Bigham Adams on September 18, 1927 and moved with her parents to Akron, Ohio the next year. She graduated from Akron East High School in 1945 and married her high school sweetheart, Arnold Duane Faulkner, in 1948. She lived in the Munroe Falls/Stow area for over 55 years and was a devoted housewife and mother who enjoyed sewing and gardening. Later in her life, she became an Upper Room Sunday School teacher at First Christian Church in Stow and leader of several Bible study groups.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her granddaughter, Stella Wyse. Survivors include her brother, Bruce of Mesa, Arizona; son Mark of Navarre; daughters Becky (Rand L.) Wyse of Strykersville, New York, and Suzanne (Gus) Eskamani of Hudson; grandchildren Jessica Escobar, Kelly Chandler, Andrew and Philip Eskamani, Daphne and Kevin Wyse; and three great-granddaughters, Chloe, Emmy, and Olivia.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
