My sincere sympathy and condolences! I am sorry to hear of the passing of Jimmy. My mother is his cousin Jean (nee Fridrich) Gibson,. I have met Jimmy in Cleveland at my Aunts and Uncle's funerals. Jimmy also would send me e-mails updates concerning the family connections and family tree. He was always a very kind and thoughtful person. My thoughts and prayers for you at this time of grief! I am sad to read about the passing of Mr. Placko. He was an interesting man who had a good quirky sense of humor and was devoted to his faith. He also made a really good meatloaf. Thinking of the Placko family during this difficult time. Those we love don't go away, They walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear.

James Placko means so much to so many. Anyone who has had the pleasure of being part of his life truly understands what a rare and beautiful soul he is. I had the awesome expirence of not only having him in my life but I got the gift of being able to call him Dad...Anyone who knows the Placko's knows what a great family they are and the center of greatness was Dad...So many of us spent the night, had parties, movies & pizza, and went out to eat and again at the center was Dad running a video camera to document the memories...I'll never forget the memories and the feelings I have had on Sierra Vista...that street will always be a legend, because a legend lived there...I could never thank you enough for the love, talks, and support you gave me when I had none...I love you Dad and thank you for sparkle... If you never have or do not believe in Santa Claus, this year you better, because Santa will have sparkle in his eye and extra rosiness to his cheeks..

I am so truly sorry for your loss. Mr. Placko was always so kind and personable to me as just a friend of Devon's. Through the years I came to know this man as Dad placko and was so proud to call him as much. He was always humble, soulful, Kind, benevolent, and absolutely supportive of every single one of his children. The world is truly a greyer place without his cheerful laugh to lighten the room. Placko family, I love you all and am truly sickened by the fact that I won't be able to make the funeral. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you throughout these trying times and that through Devon I have been blessed to come to love each and every one of you. God bless you all.
