Obituary of Christina Tobin
CUYAHOGA FALLS – Christina Tobin (Holzer), 96, peacefully entered eternal rest on Monday July 10, 2017. Born in Akron, she was a Cuyahoga Falls resident for 67 years and retired from May Company after 20 years. Christina was a long time member of Zion Lutheran Church in Akron before transferring to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cuyahoga Falls and enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Donald (of 72 years), her daughter, Nancy Stoffer, and great-grandson, Matthew Twigg. She is survived by her children, Linda Peters, Donald (Becky) Tobin, and Alan (Lisa) Tobin; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and two great-great-grandsons. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to those family members who took great care of her since her husband’s passing; especially Linda Peters and Jacki Lanham. We would also like to thank Summa’s Hospice Care and Anna’s Home Healthcare for the love and compassion they gave her these last few months. Pastor Ryan Honeycutt will officiate the service on Thursday, July 13th at 11 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2141 5th Street, Cuyahoga Falls 44221, where friends may call from 10 AM until service time. Interment will follow immediately after the service at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to RLC Mission with "Honduras" indicated on the memo line.
