My heart and prayers go out to the Grissom family ... Many a treasure memory of my time spent down at John and Helen's. I love this family ... Good times to say the least ... Thank you Dave for coming to my rescue when I once again left the lights on and drained the battery in Uncle Don's big ole white car ... You were a life saver that night ... Neither Dan nor I wanted to make that call home to his dad! So nice to reconnect with you Vicki ... hope to see you this fall ... You, Debby, and I need to sit in a corner somewhere and chat ... And Steve thanks for letting me drive that truck of yours with those oversized tires ... I'm surprised I didn't reck it ... You were very trusting of me and were you holding on as I took those curves on two wheels? All this because Helen loved John, and John's brother is Don, and Don married Marilyn ... And Marilyn is my favorite aunt which connects me to all the Grissoms! I will be praying for all of you as you celebrate a wonderful lady who's smile could light up a room and her love could be felt by all ... Even me! Love, Beth

John & Family, I am so very sorry for your loss of Helen. The photograph of her that is shown is so like her as I remember her from when I last saw her. I know how difficult this is for you, as two years ago I lost my Phillip after 42 years. I will hold you in my thoughts and prayers as you travel this road. Know that you are not alone, even though you may feel that way. You have a wonderful family that loves you very much. Do not hesitate to lean on them in the days and weeks to come. I can not express how much I was touched by this amazing woman. She was a true inspiration to every one who knew her. I am deeply saddened by her loss but she left so much more behind...Love.
