Obituary of Asuemania "Asa" Hillyard

MUNROE FALLS – Asuemania “Asa” Hillyard, 88, died September 1, 2017.

Born in Akron, she was a Munroe Falls resident since 1952, and had been employed with O’Neils/Macy’s/Kauffman’s and most recently, Marc’s. Asa loved to gamble and had been a member of Stow Sunshiners.

Preceded in death by one sister and three brothers, she is survived by her husband of 70 years, Frank A.; sons Frank W. (Terri), Daniel M. (Phyllis, dec’d.), Kenneth J. (Debbie), and Mark A. (Brenda); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sister Helena Stedman.

Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Thursday 1 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11 AM until service time.  Burial Northlawn Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
