Obituary of Joshua Erik Trumbo

Joshua Erik Trumbo, born April 16, 1983, passed away October 11, 2017.  Born in Akron, he graduated Firestone High School in 2001 and the University of Akron.  He is survived by his father, Charles Trumbo and step-mother, Barb Matvey; grandmother, Bonnie Trumbo, and aunt, Rhonda Roller.  He will be missed by many family, friends, and his two cats, whom he loved.  We will miss his special smile and sense of humor.

Joshua was an avid reader and loved history, hiking, and spending time with his buddies.  Like his mother, Marilynn, who passed in 2011, he had a heart for those less fortunate.  He has passed from this life into the arms of Jesus Christ whom he accepted as his Savior at the tender age of eight.

A memorial service will be conducted at The Chapel, 135 Fir Hill, Akron, OH 44304 on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 4 PM, Pastor Isaac Van Epps officiating.  Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Camp Carl c/o The Chapel or to Camp Carl, 8054 Calvin Road, Ravenna, OH  44266.
