Obituary of Keira Nicole Christie
Keira Nicole Christie, 11, of Stow, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on October 22, 2017.
Keira was born in Akron, Ohio to Kristine and Scott Christie. She attended Lakeview Intermediate School and loved playing volleyball and making musical videos on her phone. She looked forward to camping and swimming every year. Keira was the most loving, sweet, and caring little girl you would ever meet.
Keira is survived by her mother, Kristine; her father, Scott; her sister, Taylor; grandparents, Barb and Steve Szumski and Carol and Al Christie; great-grandparents, Jane Richardson, Rose Szumski, Betty Christie, and Lawrence and Evelyn Ryan; cousins, Austin and Gino Petrey, Jeremy and Ben Christie, Laylah Pritchett, Linkoln Maruna, and Lennox and Lexington Szumski, and many loving aunts and uncles.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the ER and PICU at Akron Children's Hospital.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, Ohio, where calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, Ohio on Monday, October 30 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Kevin Klonowski as celebrant. Burial will follow at Silver Springs Cemetery in Stow. Memorial donations may be made to Lifebanc, https://51254.thankyou4caring.org/LifebancContribution.
