Obituary of Geoffrey Todd Lupo
Geoffrey Todd Lupo, 44, of Akron passed away November 2, 2017. He was born June 29, 1973 in Cleveland, OH, a son of Edmund and Gloria (Vinci) Lupo.
A graduate of Stow High School, Geoffrey received his bachelor’s degree from the Columbus College of Fine Arts and a master’s degree in Fine Arts from Cornell University. He moved to New York, where he worked for Bark Inc., dealing with private art collections and framing various art pieces.
Geoffrey was an avid reader and loved classical art and music. Being an artist himself, he enjoyed painting, drawing and playing classical guitar. He enjoyed running, and in his younger years, he golfed and played hockey. Above all, he loved his family and the time he spent with them.
Geoffrey is survived by his parents, three brothers David, Brian (Georgia) and Chad Lupo; eight nieces and nephews, Alex, Samantha, David Jr., Anthony, Josie, Vincent, Elias and Zoey. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph & Theresa Lupo, maternal grandparents, Felix & Bernadet Vinci, and his sister-in-law, Lisa.
The family would like to thank the staff at Summa Hospital Palliative Care and ICU, for their care and compassion, and Geoffrey’s coworkers at Walmart for all of their help and kindness.
Family and friends may call Sunday from 1-4 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Monday at Holy Family Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, OH 44224, Father Mike Ausperk celebrant.
