Obituary of Frank Arthur Hillyard

Frank A. Hillyard, 89, passed away November 8, 2017. Born in Akron to Harvey and Gertrude (Miller) Hillyard, he was a Munroe Falls resident since 1952. He worked at Savory Machine Co. in Hudson for 25 years and went on to work as a technician at Chrysler for 26 years.

Frank was a member of Coventry-Akron Lodge 83 F & AM, 32nd degree Scottish Rite, Tadmor Temple Shrine, Stow Sunshiners and was an avid hunter.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Asuemania, one brother and five sisters. He leaves behind four sons Frank W. (Terri), Daniel M. (Phyllis, dec’d.), Kenneth J. (Debbie), and Mark A. (Brenda); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sister Francis (Joe).

Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Wednesday 1 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11 AM until service time. Burial Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
