Obituary of Luretta B. Harter

Luretta B. Harter, 92, died December 5, 2017.   “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.”  Psalm 116:15. Born July 16, 1925 to Ruth Ann and Stephen Light in Akron, Ohio, she was a member of Stow Presbyterian Church, and had retired as a purchasing agent for General Tire.  She enjoyed singing in the church choir, loved to travel, and was always happy having her grandchildren, family and friends come to visit.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, she is survived by son Robert K. Harter, Sr. (Cathy), grandchildren, Bob Harter, Jr., Christopher (Karen) Harter, Melody Dobson, great-grandchildren, Jonathon, Skye, Christian, River and Sam, Catelyn Wienclaw (Andrew), Abbi Dobson (Denon) and Hannah, great-great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Delaney, sister Nancy Simpson, sister-in-law Dorothy Light and many other family and friends.

Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday from 4 to 6 PM and where Rev. Dr. David Weyrick will conduct service Tuesday 1 PM.  Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens.  Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Stow Presbyterian Church Mission Fund, 4150 Fishcreek Road, Stow, OH 44224.
