Obituary of Jesse C. Weisinger
“Unforgettable that’s what you are, Baby”
“Unforgettable, Baby, in every way and forever more, that’s how you stay.”
Life and people made you suffer beyond any measure given to others, but you turned that into goodness and richness of your being, making the lives of anyone around you better.
Your kids and I testify that for your family, you have been always like a fortress, keeping us safe, taken care of, and at the very center of your universe. Friends, colleagues and neighbors saw your strong convictions, competence in everything you touched, honesty, nimble mind, wonderful sense of humor, and flocked to it, as if the place where you stood was brighter and warmer than surroundings.
The loss of your commanding presence remains an unescapable gap in our hearts, although, an inspiration to follow your lead stays the same: love, share your passion, never give up!
You know, Baby, they called you “a tough cookie”, but I witnessed your vulnerabilities that arose from a traumatic childhood, and most recently, from your unwavering fight with the disease, and made me love you even more. Who else but you, could turn that around and rise from ashes of despair to become a vibrant, self-made man, and then bellowed husband, father and friend?
Although, anecdotical, your taste of music, artistic persuasions, that you had no time to truly pursue, and most of all, your legendary gourmand cooking, was another way to share with others.
Being a victim of the cancer industry, that denies the cure for profits, never stopped you from attempting to live to the fullest, as long as it was possible. You amazed us over and over, as to where your source of energy coming from.... God knows, it came from love.
Your Babies and I will miss you forever. Your grandchildren will learn tales about you from us, hoping that one day, we will meet again in the Lord’s presence. Amen.
