Obituary of Margaret S. Davidson

STOW – Margaret S. “Peggy” Davidson, 92, went to be with the Lord April 4, 2018.

Born in Nanty-Glo, PA, Peggy was a resident of Stow since 1959. She was a genuinely good and godly woman whose center and focus in life was God and her family. She never met a stranger, and had a gift for always putting others first and helping them in any way she could. Peggy enjoyed arranging flowers, sewing, and cooking and baking for her family. Peggy’s work-life included positions as a bakery manager, floor supervisor at a plastics factory and sales clerk at Ben Franklin.

Preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Elsie Hastie; husband of 31 years, James Davidson; sister, Marian Heil; brother and sister-in-law, John (Eleanor) Hastie; and nephew, Thomas Hastie. Peggy is survived by her children, Karen (Jim) Myers and Rob (Deb) Davidson; grandchild, Janelle (Ian) Maur; brother-in-law, Ralph Heil; and many other loving family and friends.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Rd., Stow for visitation Friday, April 13 from 5 to 8 PM. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 14 at Fishcreek Church of the Nazarene, 4669 Fishcreek Rd., Stow at 11 AM and where friends may call from 10 AM until service time. Private burial Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
