Obituary of David Lamar Breon
David Lamar Breon, age 84 of Stow, Ohio, died peacefully outdoors bird watching at his home Friday, May 4, 2018.
He was born July 29, 1933 in Knoxville, Tennessee and adopted by George Edward Breon of Centre County, Pennsylvania and Daisy Lee Stevens of Northampton County, Virginia, also of Knoxville. He attended Hopewell High School in Hopewell, Virginia where he was a state championship football player and lifeguard known as “Tennessee.” He served in the U.S. Air Force and became an engineer and technical writer until retirement at age 65.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Geraldine Ann Ward, 80 of Stow; daughters Patricia Ann Breon and Mary Ellen Breon, and “Favorite Son” Sergio Francisco Puebla Palomo of Mexico City, and every bird, chipmunk, squirrel, flower, and living creature in our world. We knew a kind man with southern roots who never met a stranger and found value in everything as “Lamar.” He will be deeply missed.
Family and friends invite you to his memorial service to be held at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, Ohio 44224 on Saturday May 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM.
