Obituary of Andrija Djercan
Andrija (Andy) Djercan, 79, died July 16, 2018 after a short illness.
Born in Sid, Serbia, he and his wife came to America in 1967. He had lived in Stow and Munroe Falls for over 45 years. Andy worked for over 33 years at Universal Tire Molds as a hand finisher and enjoyed taking care of his fruit trees vineyard.
Preceded in death by his parents, Andrija and Zuza Djercan, sister Era Suster and brother Duro Djercan, he is survived by his wife of 58 years, Suzana, daughter Zelka Turan (Zlatko), grandchildren Marica Turan and Christine Fisher (Steven), new born great-grandson Gabriel Fisher, sisters Ana Marelj (Boro), Elena Stojecki (Nikola), brothers Jano and Miro (Marica) Djercan.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday from 6 to 8 PM, where a service will be conducted Friday 10 AM. Interment Maple Lawn Cemetery in Stow.
