Obituary of Barbara Ann Platt
Mrs. Barbara Ann (Fabrizio) Platt, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2018. Barb was known for her infectious smile and inner strength.
She was born on July 31, 1944 in Akron, Ohio to the late Theresa and Dominic Fabrizio. She graduated with honors from North High School in 1962.
Barbara was the loving wife of Robert Platt for 53 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Beth Nazario (Jose); brother, Thomas Fabrizio; sister, Pamela Dowler (Nick); grandchildren, Dominic and Gabriel; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was a member of Holy Family Church in Stow.
Friends and family will be received at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, for calling hours on Sunday, September 23rd from 4-8 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, 44224 at 10 AM on Monday, September 24th, Father Kevin Klonowski Celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.
Our family historian and peacemaker will be missed, but her memory will live on.
