I would like to express my condolences to the friends and family. Loosing someone we love is never easy. Sometimes our close friends and family don’t even understand our pain. Fortunately we have a loving God who does and knows exactly what we need. Turn to HIM in prayer. He is the God of all comfort and wants to help you through this. 2 Corinthians 1:3.4 that says praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God. I hope this is a source of comfort for you.

I am so sad to hear about this after the fact. Someone from Kohls contacted me & said they saw it in the Stow Century paper...I would have loved to had seen her one last time. I have thought about her often & missed her so much. We were like sisters when we worked at Kohls together. She was such a loving person, & I treasure our time we spent together. I've tried to call her several times over the past few years, I'd left messages for her but never to get a returned call. The one time I stopped at her house, Joseph -I'm sure you remember, she was distraught & definitely not her friendly, loving, bubbly self. I felt so sorry for her. I love you my dear friend Monica, & I've missed you so. I'm glad you are at peace now- until we meet again my sister. xo

Monica worked for me and my Dad at our real estate development office for many years. I hired her to work for my Dad and had to pay more to get her than what we had been paying because she was a true executive secretary assistant. So I convinced him she was worth it. As he slowed down he wasn’t using her very much because he was spending winters in Florida. So I stole her from him. When he got back to Columbus he stole her back. We tried promoting her as leasing agent but she didn’t like it much. It turned out negotiating wasn’t a strong suit of hers and there was no place else to go within the organization so she took a job elsewhere on good terms. Seven or eight years later I had an opening and she came back. We had a fabulous working relationship until her husband’s job took her to New Orleans. She could learn quickly and really helped me stay on top of things. She was definitely one of the best hires I ever made. My nickname for her was “Ace.” Will look forward to reconnecting in heaven. My condolences to the family. May many fond memories and the peace of Jesus be with us all!
