I like to express my condolences to the friends and family. Loosing someone we love is never easy. Sometimes our close friends and family don’t even understand our pain. Fortunately we have a loving God who does and knows exactly what we need. Turn to HIM in prayer. He is the God of all comfort and wants to help you through this. 2 Corinthians 1:3.4 that says praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God. I hope this is a source of comfort for you.

I don’t have any creative and unique ways to say what sooo many people have said. I am sorry. This isn’t fair after fighting such a good fight. Cathy inspires me to be a better person. Your family is amazing in the love and support you show in both happy and sad times. There are many loved ones in heaven who are welcoming Cathy and celebrating.
Praying for you all and will see you later this week. Xo

To the family, sorry for your loss. May you find comfort from God’s word the Bible. Jehovah God hates death, He views death as an enemy. I Corinthians 15:26 His son Jesus Christ said “All those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out “ John 5:28,29 so we have a promise and a hope of seeing our love ones again.

Cathy was a warm hug, a bright smile, and a mother to all of her children's friends. We spent every home game at the Mullins tailgate and were treated like family. She is an inspiration to all, for she lead her life with love, conviction, and boundless joy. Much love to the Mullins/Scott family.

I first knew Cathy as my college buddy, Spike’s little sister. Next she became our best man, Brian’s wife. Over the years Cathy became my friend and neighbor in Nokomis, Florida. It has been my privilege to know and love Cathy. She was a great friend/lover/partner to Brian. They had such fun together in Florida (hula hooping on the beach, bicycling to Venice, making music in our garden or theirs). She raised remarkable children. She was a true matriarch-caring for her parents even as she battled for her own life. She was a beautiful woman of faith. Cathy inspired me to be a better person. I will miss her gentle soul. I am certain she is leading a choir of angels in the heavens with her dear sister and parents at her side.
