Jack and family were the Welcome to our Neighborhood when we lived in Stow. The friendship continues. God used you, Jack, that Lenten season when Call, Culture, and Obedience collided. So funny. Same Bible Study. You understood so well. Your peace filled laughter will be missed but never forgotten. Thank you for being your wonderful self.

My deepest sympathy, Judye, to you and your sons. Remembering Jack when he was pastor at Ohltown United Methodist Church in the Austintown, Ohio, area. I have fond memories of being in the MYF group that he led, when I was a teen in the mid 70s. Vickey Coss Motyka

Jack and Judye became two of our favorite people after retirement and meeting monthly with Canal Retirees at the Waterloo Restaurant. We were terribly shocked to learn of his passing. Our prayers are with Judye and the family. We look forward to honoring him at the Memorial Service.

When I came to Ohio to serve Niles: Fairview, in 1978, Jack was that friendly slightly older pastor who was always giving encouragement and support to this newbie. We have not served close to each other for years, but I cherished his kindness and spirit then. And, I remember him with gratitude and love now.

Dear Judye , Jeff & Jason & family,
It is with a sad heart that i send greetings. What a joy to have known Jack and worked in the church office those 7 years. We sure had a great time making Ohltown see and hear what was going on. Remembering our mission trip to Ft Smith, Ark and the time of our lives with all those teen age kids. what a adventure we had. Seems like everything i'm remembering was a fun time.....well praise the Lord it was. I sure have good memories of being a part of his life, and yours Judye and Jeff & Jason. I am so happy he took time to stop one day and visit at our villa, it was great to be on computer with him also. Feels good to remember our good times along and among the tears of his loss. So glad you were among us for the 50th anniversary of Howard and I, and to have Jack be a part of the ceremony. What a joy to have known him. You all shall remain in my heart. Love "L"

I’m sorry for your loss, pain and suffering. Whenever we lose a loved one in death we feel a sting and a void in our hearts, as if someone ripped part of our heart out. The pain seems like it will never go away. It will with time, or it will at least ease up. The Bible reassures us of that in 1 Corinthians 15:54,55 - “Death is swallowed up forever. Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?” God promises us there will be no more death. (Rev. 22:3,4). Turn to him in prayer.
