Obituary of William "Bud" H. May III

William “Bud” H.  May, III, 70, died February 25, 2019.

Born in Akron, he was a lifetime Stow resident and was employed through IBEW Local 306 for 49 years. Bud was a member of Stow Alliance Fellowship Church, where he served as a trustee for many years. Bud was passionate about, and was involved in, many different hobbies, but most of all he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed sharing his love of the outdoors with his wife, family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of over 48 years, Terry (nee Pontius); children Nathan (Wendy) May of Tallmadge, Sarah (Roland) Moody of Stow and Rachel (Daniel) Killinger of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren Lincoln, Carson and Parker May, Aubrey, Marah and Mallory Moody and Dylan Killinger; sisters Kathryn Murtha of Stow, Nancy (Danny) Worrell of Stow and Mary Dee (Timothy) Richardson of Lee’s Summit, MO.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation this Sunday from 1 to 4 PM. Funeral service Monday 10:30 AM at Stow Alliance Fellowship, 4460 Stow Road, Stow 44224, where friends may call one hour prior to service time, Rev. John Kitchen officiating. Burial Silver Springs Cemetery.
