I didn't know Ken, but if his son Jim is a reflection of him, he must have been a great man. God bless your family. Praying for you all!

My girls and I had the pleasure of spending some time with him a few summers ago. I will have to say he is by far one of the most precious souls I've ever met! His personality was so infectious to us that I can only imagine the impact he had on so many lives. My prayers, thoughts, and love will continue to be with the family indefinitely! Rest in Peace to an amazing man! I will always be honored to have met him and his family!

I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to the Redfern family. I met Mr. Redfern through Indian Guides and he continued to be a part of my life through Boy Scouts. He was an amazing Scout Leader, Mentor, and Friend. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he has touched.

Sending my deepest sympathies to the Redfern Family.… This is a difficult loss. May the Lord lift them up during this time, and keep them in His loving care.
- Ken will always hold a special place in my heart. I had the pleasure of meeting both Ken and Mary at my place of business, and I remember like yesterday when they returned, Ken said, ‘We knew you were an ok person because you had country music playing on your radio.” No nonsense and straight to the point. That hit me right in my music-loving heart. And add the fact that Ken and Mary love dogs as much as I do… we were destined to become great friends. More than friends, they are like family to me. I cherish all of our many conversations and time shared together. Ken would tell you that Mary and I talk too much and for too long, but I’m here to tell you he could keep up with the best of them. Always sharing his knowledge, memories, advice, and his sense of humor of course. All of these things will be greatly missed, but most of all, I’ll miss his kind heart. A devoted husband, father, and friend. Always thinking of others… especially the four-legged furry ones. I’m blessed to have known him, and forever grateful that he and Mary saw something in me… enough to stick around and make memories together. Rest in Heaven Ken… XOXO

Ken and will always treasure the time we spent together. Ken had a unique outlook on life and shared that with everyone to make their life a happier place. Dear Mary, Jim and Tim
It is such a great loss with Ken passing.
I was so blessed to have met Ken and Mary as neighbors many years ago and our friendship is like family.
Ken and Mary were there for me , and I was so happy to have them take me to lunch at Hartville and to get to chat up a storm.
I know Ken was a very caring and giving man who would help anyone if they needed it
He will truly be missed.
My Very Deepest Sympathy
Marilyn
