Obituary of Holly J. Lipocky
Holly J. Lipocky, 62, of Kent, passed away Sunday, March 17, surrounded by her loving friends and family.
She was born December 26, 1956 to Richard and Sally Whitehead. Holly worked in food service at several area restaurants including the Pacific Pearl (Warrensville Heights) and the Welshfield Inn (Burton). After meeting the love of her life, Kent, Holly helped with his business, Sky Kings Aviary and became an avid exotic bird lover. Throughout her life, she planted spectacular gardens and took particular delight in attracting wild birds, butterflies, and other creatures with her choice of nature-friendly flowers.
Holly is survived by her loving life-partner Kent Kibler, her children Brian Hardy, Joelle Lipocky and Danny Lipocky, her brother, Thomas (Nancy) Whitehead, and sister, Amy (Kurt) Lange. She was also a wonderful grandmother to Jordyn and Vincent Kibler, and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Holly was a devout member of Fishcreek Nazarene Church and her church family was especially important to her. Their continual assistance and care throughout Holly's illness helped give Holly and her family spiritual strength and peace. Holly embraced this scripture, knowing that she would again see her loved ones, "Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy." John 16:22.
Per Holly's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Fishcreek Nazarene Church, 4669 Fishcreek Road, Stow, on Friday, March 22 at 6 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the church are appreciated.
