My deepest sympathy to Pastor Pacheco's family. I remember Pastor Pacheco when he was at the Ellet Grace Brethren Church. I remember him well when he was working with the youth group amongst other positions. What a wonderful man of God is how I have and always will remember him. His passing without a doubt is Heaven's gain. Mrs. Pacheco and Bryan, just take one day at a time as so many will be lifting you up in our prayers. In God's time, we will all meet again.

Time is such a challenge. Sandy and I knew Eloy and Pat (and Danny and Miriam - Cousin) at Grace College a hundred years ago. At least it seems like that long. However, the video presentation brought back fond, clear memories - with a tear. God bless you, Pacheco Family - especially Pat and Son/Family at this somber time. However we do know and take strength and hope in knowing we shall all be reunited beyond the sky sometime, for some of us, perhaps soon. God bless all of you. Love Terry & Sandy Holsinger

I was saddened to learn about the homegoing of Pastor Pacheco. He was a great mentor and model of pastoral care when I interned at The Chapel in 1986/87. He always had a shepherd's heart and truly cared for all within his sphere of influence. My condolences to the family. Rev. Brad Smith, Chaplain for Mercy Health, Warren, Ohio.

Please allow me to express my deepest condolences. Death brings untold sorrow to all families of the earth. The Creator has promised to do away with this enemy once and for all. May this hope bring you comfort in the difficult days ahead. Isaiah 25:8

Eloy was so compassionate and supportive when my husband Hank died in 1993. We were members of the Chapel at the time. His tender heart and Biblical counsel helped me through that devastating time in my life. We have lost a wonderful brother but the hope we have in Christ assures us we will see Eloy again. I look forward to our reunion!

When I came to Grace College in the autumn of 1961 there was a Big Brother-New Student program in effect. Eloy Pacheco was my Big Brother to introduce me to Campus life at Grace as an entering freshman. That was my introduction to the Pacheco family. Eloy was easy to get to know in a very personal way and as I recall made me feel very much at home that semester at Grace. His wife to be, Patsy Engle, was one of a number of nursing students entering Grace that semester and also became a good friend during that school year of 1961-62. Those memories are treasured for which we thank God for many friends who made it happen. Eloy was one of those valued friends.
