Christie, My heart goes out to you over the loss of your dear father, John. I was TRULY thinking about you and your dad only a couple of days ago, too! I suppose my spirit must have known that your father was approaching death because I was compelled to stop right in that moment and pray for you both. Then, I read your post yesterday on Facebook, and everything became clear as to why I had gotten that gentle prodding from the Lord to pray on Friday. As the song says, "His eye is on the sparrow, so I know He watches me". A friend was asked to pray when you needed it most. I am so happy Larry would sit with your dad to listen to our Akron Pops Orchestra concerts these last few years and your father could get to hear you perform. Music is such a universal language that I'm sure it spoke to your dad and that loved hearing you play your clarinet. My ongoing prayers are with you and Larry and the rest of your family to be comforted in this difficult, sad time of loss. Sincerely, Becky Yoho
