Susan L. Sackett (Husted) passed away on September 11, 2019 due to complications of ALS.

Susan, a 1998 graduate of Stow-Munroe Falls High School, earned her bachelor’s degree in 2001 from Kent State University and her master’s degree in 2017 from Tiffin University.  She was an active member of Christ Community Chapel (CCC) in Hudson.  Susan was actively involved with her four children including coaching multiple teams, participating in school functions, and attending all of their activities.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jean and Clarence Husted, and her maternal grandparents, Paul and Eva Snyder.  To forever cherish her memory, she leaves her husband, Brady, her children, Ethan, Tessa, Grace, and Carly, her parents, Jim and Debbie Husted, and her sister, Nicole (Jason) Marcum, her in-laws, Jim and Linda Sackett, sisters-in-law Amy (Dan) Freeman and Amanda (Dom) Donatelli, brothers-in-law Robbie, Jeremy (Stacy), and Clay (Karrie), and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Throughout her battle with ALS, Susan received overwhelming support.  The family would like to thank friends, the church family, the staffs of Norton, Cuyahoga Falls, and Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools, the ALS community, and the medical teams at Cleveland Clinic.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the education fund for Susan’s four children at any Huntington Bank.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 15th from 4 to 7 PM at Christ Community Chapel, 750 W. Streetsboro Street, Hudson 44236, where a memorial service, officiated by Pastor Joe Coffey, will be held on Monday, September 16th at 10 AM.
