Joseph Gati

Obituary of Joseph A. Gati

A beautiful life gone too soon. Joseph Gati, completed his life journey and went home to be with his father Joe Gati, grandfather Francis Piper, and his Lord and savior Jesus Christ, on January 10, 2020. Joey was born August 27, 1988 and from the moment Joey took his first breath, his journey was busy, to say the least. As a young one, he saw himself as fearless and brave, however, we saw him as the kid with all the scrapes and bruises. As a teen, he was a tough wrestler, football player and a great tea party guest with his nieces. He always had an abundance of love and compassion for others and those who knew him loved him dearly. Joey’s spirit for life ran deep, and could not be contained, he will be greatly missed. He leaves behind (what we fondly like to refer to as a “unique” family) his mother Jean Piper- Myers, bonus father Dr.Collin Myers, brother Dr. Brandon Martinez and his wife Emily, his brother Scribe Martinez and his wife Stephanie, his sister and best friend Kara Gati, his sister Bernadette Crovedi and her husband John, his sister Stacey Gati, his loving nieces and nephews Lexi, Aliyah, Jayden, Ellienne, Grant, Danny, Tristan, Gianni, AJ, Jacob and an additional 75 immediate family members. “The measure of a man is one who is brave enough to rise again after he falls, learns from his mistakes, and bestows that favor to others.” Joey had a big heart, and a sweet spirit…. Our world will be a little dimmer now that he is gone.
