Obituary of Ruth L. Schlossmacher

HUDSON - Ruth L. Schlossmacher (nee Huber), age 98, of Hudson, OH passed away March 4, 2020. Born in Queens, NY, Ruth also lived 40 years in Florida. Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Rev. Edward J. Schlossmacher; loving mother of Lois (Ernest) Carnes of Hudson and Edward (Joy) Schlossmacher of Arizona; devoted grandmother of Russ (Sara) Carnes, Stacey (Gene) DiNardo, Kimberly (Matthew) Bracewell, and Ted (Stephanie) Schlossmacher; great-grandmother of Makayla & Reagan Carnes, Mia & Ella DiNardo, Maddie, Paige & Simon Bracewell and Hannah, Max, Jada, & Leo Schlossmacher. Ruth served in many capacities in the churches that her husband pastored. She especially had a passion for seeing missionary programs grow throughout the world. Ruth's love for Christ radiated in her talk, actions, and commitment to praying. Ruth's family is thankful for the kindness and daily care she received recently from Danbury Hudson Senior Living. Service will be held Tuesday, March 10th, 11:30 A.M at Christ Community Chapel – Hudson Campus, 750 W. Streetsboro Street. Burial Markillie Cemetery. Family requests no flowers, rather memorials to Christ Community Chapel.
