STOW - James G. (Jim) Bamer
This world lost a very special person - loved by all who knew him. Jim was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 18, 1946.
Preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Jeanette Bamer, he leaves his lucky wife of 33 years, Sally;
daughters Gwenn (Sue) Bamer-Flynn of Strongsville and Kimberly (Andrew) Russo of Middleburgh Hts.; step-son Thomas (Kathleen) Podmore of Hudson and nine grandchildren; sisters Judy (Jim) Day, of Matthews, North Carolina and Joan (Doug) Helber of Strongsville, along with many nieces, and nephews.
Jim graduated from Benedictine High School in Cleveland and Bowling Green University. He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber after a successful career in sales and Marketing.
Jim loved playing golf with his friends and developed a green thumb in his garden. His home was always filled with love and what he referred to as the critters. A petting zoo consisting of dogs, kitties, and birds.
Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will take place at a later date. If you should desire, memorial contributions may be sent to Doberman Underground Rescue, 114 Barrington Town Square Drive, Suite 345, Aurora, Ohio 44202 or Parrot Hope Rescue, 11195 Bowen Road, Mantua, Ohio 44255, in Jim's name.
