Even though we didn’t know her personally, we have enjoyed hearing Megan talk about her cherished Grandma. She sounds like she was quite a woman! Our condolences to the entire family. May peace come in the comfort of loved ones and sadness turn to joy as time passes and you can smile at the memories you shared. Love, Kathy and all of your friends in PNCU.

As a neighbors to Cathy & Tom Shoemaker, whom Helen lived with for many years , was always great to talk to . Whether it be politics, yard work , weather or life in general she did very well relating the past with the present could . Helen spoke what was on her mind and said alot with few words. Never "sugarcoated" anything. She would be out there in her mid 80's shoveling snow early in the morning so that Tom and Cathy could get up and down the driveway and be clear for when Megan & Brandon came over to visit. lf there was alot of snow she would use the snowblower. She was part of generation that saw and helped our country propel to the top super power and top industrialized nation. Tribute to Helen and her contributions to life and family
