Obituary of Jim Butler
MUNROE FALLS - James E. “Jim” Butler, 76, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 17, 2020.
Born in Akron, he was a Munroe Falls resident for 42 years, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and had attended Victory Life Church. Jim retired from Chrysler in Twinsburg after 35 years and served as Chief Steward and then Vice-President of UAW 122. Jim’s love for the Lord was the most important thing in his life, and he shared that with everyone he knew.
Preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary, and sister, Kathy Butler, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra; sons Monty E. and Michael E.; granddaughters, Abigail and Lily Butler, and sister, Rosemary Fox.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday 6 to 8 PM, where Pastor Matt Skifstad will conduct service Wednesday 11 AM. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing measures.
