My mother loved her children with all of her heart unconditionally and her grandchildren even more if that’s possible. In her eyes we were always a hundred times better than we actually were and she made sure everyone knew it. She did whatever she had to do to provide for us and she always did. Her faults were covered up by her endless love for her children and their families. She simply drowned them out. She never missed a game or passed up and invitation to visit. We were what she had and that’s all that mattered to her. And it was enough. She was simply amazing. I miss her more and more every single day that passes and I hope as she looks down on us now that she can see how much we loved her and how proud we are that she was our Mom. Thank you, Mom. We love you and always will. We will try our best to continue to make you proud. We can’t wait to see you again. Until then. I love you.

I remember meeting Betty at the ground breaking ceremony for the new Sunbury Christian Church several years ago. I met her and helped her around a bit that day. My memory of Betty was a warm, friendly, and engaging person. I know Betty had a history of health problems but that did not bother her. What a personality. I'm sure Jesus met Betty with open arms.
