As a work colleague, Marvin was knowledgeable and full of energy. He fought for what was right but understood that in a big company you have to compromise. Everyone knew Marvin and once you met him, you always remembered him. His contributions to the industry he served professionally are many. His influence in the lives he touched in his career are even greater. His friends at Johnson Controls will miss him, but will always serve his memory with stories we have about him and technical details we learned from him.
Thanks for being an example for us to follow Marvin.

Marvin and Monica were adopted by our family in El Paso Tx and it did feel like they had been family with us since we were born. Aunt Monica’s amazing cooking lessons and Uncle Marvin teaching us how to swim in his pool we’re some of the many beautiful memories they left us. Aunt Monica always made us feel special with “beauty days” and Christmas wasn’t Christmas without Uncle Marvin dressing up as Santa Claus making all of us in the room sing Christmas Carols as we laughed when he had Beto and my dad also sit on his lap to see if they had been good boys that year. The list of fun and laughs is endless and both their memories WILL live on in us forever!!
God bless us all his family that he left behind and we hope to hug him again one day!!

Andy, you were a friend, brother , confidant, and partner in crime so to speak. We had more than 50 years of memories and " excursions " for me to look back on and laugh about, cry about and just remember. You along with the others took a piece of my heart with you when you left. But I know you are finally happy again. You are with your beloved Monica Joyce. May you finally be at Peace and tell the others they are loved and missed as you well know. You will be missed more than you know but, I am sadly Happy for you now. You will never be forgotten, and as you said until we meet again .
