Obituary of Allen Charles Kyser

KENT – Allen C. Kyser, 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, July 28, 2020. Born in Akron, Ohio, he was a resident of Kent and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he spent 22 years and then worked 18 years for BF Goodrich. Allen was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Joan (Thornburg) Kyser; daughters, Susan Kennedy, Janet (Harold) Goff, Jeanne (Michael) Meyers, Carol (Mark) Berbaum, and Patricia (Timothy) Gluntz; grandchildren, David (Lana) Kearns, Matthew (Rebekah) Kearns, Benjamin Kearns, Jeffrey (Heather) Goff, Emily (Eric) Stewart, and Holly (Matt) Thies; and nine great grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 22nd at 11 AM, Church in the Falls, 837 Chestnut Boulevard, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A private graveside will take place at Western Reserve National Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 207 Portage Trail, Ext West, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223.
