Obituary of Stephen Michael Wargo

STOW - Stephen M. Wargo, age 58, died December 13, 2020: preceded in death by parents Albert T. and Dorothy and brother Albert J. Wargo. He is survived by brother Raymond (Sharon Arpin); sister Maryann Kuhn (husband Robert); sons Nick and Andy (Kara Simon); daughter Tori and ex-wife Patty. Steve grew up in Willoughby Hills and graduated from Willoughby South High School and Westminster College where he played football and was an All-American left tackle. Steve had careers at Roadway Express, Howard Hanna and Keller Williams Chervenic Realty. Steve enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He spent most weekends in Deerfield where he enjoyed a good cigar, gardening, and supplying Ernie the pig with watermelon routinely. As many people have said, “To know Steve was to love Steve.” Always kind, always caring and always willing to help; Steve’s smile never failed to light up a room. Affectionately referred to as “Daddio”. His life was devoted to his children and he will be missed dearly. Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, Ohio, for visitation Saturday from 1 to 5 PM. Social distancing will be practiced, and masks will be required.
