Obituary of Jack Michael Gibson

Jack Michael Gibson, age 71, passed peacefully at his home in Hutto, Texas surrounded by loved ones on December 20, 2020. A 1967 graduate of Springfield High School, he proudly went on to serve as a corporal in the United States Marine Corps from 1969 to 1975. Jack recently celebrated 50 years of marriage with his loving wife, Cynthia. He loved to bowl, golf, play softball and enjoyed coaching with Stow Youth Football and Stow Youth Baseball. He rode Harleys and was a great dog dad to many Siberian Huskies (his favorite breed.) Preceded in death by his father Jack F. Gibson and mother Lillian M. Gibson, he is survived by his wife and three sons; Jack, Christopher, and Ryan, their wives, four grandchildren, extended family, countless friends and his best friends, his dog Kodiak and cat Axel. Father Andy Gonzalez will conduct funeral services Saturday, January 2nd at 1 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11 AM until service time. Burial with military honors will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, nationalmssociety.org, or American Legion Post 175/Acker-Moore VFW, 3733 Fishcreek Road, Stow, 44224.
