Obituary of Sandra Lee Parker

STOW - Sandra L. Parker, 74, died December 22, 2020. Born in Akron to Robert and Dorotha Parker, she was raised in Stow and was a graduate of Stow High School. Sandra received her LPN from Idabelle Firestone School of Nursing in Akron in 1967 and later received her RN from Notre Dame College of Nursing in Baltimore, MD in 1982. Sandra lived for several years in Los Angeles, California where she cared for mostly AIDS patients before returning to Stow in 2002 to care for her mother, then retiring in 2015. She was a member of Stow Community Church, loved collecting miniatures, and was a talented seamstress. She is survived by her brother, Terry (Marynell) Parker; two nephews, and five great nieces and nephews. Sandra is also survived by a large extended family of cousins as well as many special friends. Interment Stow Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials in Sandra’s name may be made to Stow Community Church, 1567 Pilgrim Drive, Stow, OH 44224.
