Coach Podges, Mandy and family, I’m so sorry for your loss. I absolutely adored Mrs. Podges! She was an amazing lady who was so kind to all of us. She loved Maddie’s friends and treated Aubrey as if she was one of her own. She attended every sporting event and was their biggest cheerleader. I’ll never forget her consoling me after Aubrey had a bad end to a basketball game and blamed herself for the loss. She saw me tearing up and gave me a big hug. Meant the world to me. Another favorite memory is at the Stow football game when she stood next to Aubrey and realized Aubrey was as tall as her. The girls started cracking up and your mom just joined in and laughed with them. Here’s a picture of them from the game. Hugs and prayers to all of you. I feel lucky to have known her. I have fun happy memories of Josie and Bob and Tom and I and the Fritzs' often at the New Year. Josie's sweet and generous spirit is what I remember most. I send my prayers and condolences at this terrible loss for all her family and close friends.
