Obituary of Robert Ellis Shaheen

STOW - Robert E. Shaheen, 74, died January 27, 2021. Born in Akron, he was a resident of Stow since 1974. Bob graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High school in 1965, attended Kent State University, and was a U.S. Naval Air veteran. Bob was a career mechanic and auto body man working alongside his son, Randy, at RES Autos. He was a member of the New Apostolic Church where he served as minister for many years while raising his four children with his wife, Barbara. His focus and priority was always on his family and he never missed an opportunity to play a game of Euchre or Monopoly with his grandsons. He loved to cook and was happiest when family was together to enjoy Sunday and holiday dinners. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Shaheen; daughters, Robyn (Brad) Kosco, Rachel (Keith) Dumigan; sons, Randy (Lindsay) Shaheen, Rob (Michelle) Shaheen; grandchildren, Jacob, Lucas, Stephen, Ryan; and dear cousins Brian (Suzanne) Hilaire and Larry Hilaire. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
