Paula,
I will always remember you as momma P. My heart is so sad that you are gone, and I still can't believe it. You were such a great person, always willing to listen and give straight up honest advise. I will never forget all of the advise you passed onto me when my daughter was in middle school. You always let me bend your ear and you were never judgmental of anyone. You were loved by so many and you will missed everyone whose life you touched. I will always remember your advise when my x-husband was beyond annoying. You would say "Oh, go tell him to go lay down". Still makes me laugh. RIP Paula, until we meet again. Kelly Botos

Paula, we became friends 20 years ago, most likely on the smoke dock, discussing work with our sarcastic flare. We didn’t have to sit by each other to understand each other. As you always say, I am your mini me! I am so glad to have had you in my life. You made me laugh and smile everyday. You filled the silence in huddles, (thank you) you always had my back, I could tell you anything and you knew what to do. I know your life wasn’t always easy, but you never let it show. I miss you, and I’ll think of you often, and I know you are going to be right there, helping us along the way, because that’s who you are!! Love ya POH POH.... Possum

You will be terribly missed by so many, Paula. From the moment we met we discovered our strong personalities and shared many stories and laughs. You cared deeply for people and your job which showed with the many agencies that called and spoke with you. There was always specific personal tidbits that you remembered which built trust and an unmatched repoire. You called me the "left side of your brain" as we shared opposite strengths at work. I'm the Leo that matched your bossiness which bonded us forever. Even though we had moments of time where we lost touch, we knew we would always be there for each other. I was blessed to have phone conversations with you up to the last day you were at the hospital. You said you still felt like a badass. But you were going home for palitative care. I told you that you ARE a badass. Your body just isn't. I know you are in Heaven watching over your loved ones and you have left an unsurpassed legacy at Allstate. Your.boomimg laugh and strength will never be forgotten. I still can't believe you're gone from us, but am so blessed to have known you. LYLT my friend. Lisa Haughawout
