Obituary of Vincent L. Slentz

Vincent L. Slentz, 91, of Silver Lake, died February 13, 2021. He was born in Henry County on June 20, 1929 to Roy S. Slentz and Byrde E. (Miller) Slentz. Vince graduated from Liberty Center High School in 1947 and from Bowling Green State University in 1957. He served in the Air Force of the United States from September 1950 to September 1953. He taught school and coached at Rock Creek Public Schools for four years and at Stow Public Schools for 25 years. Vincent married Audrey M. Keysor on August 11, 1961. He was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Thomas Beebe and Samuel Keysor. Vince is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Audrey M. Slentz, his sisters, Marilyn Slentz, and Joan Beebe, his brother-in-law, Dr. Philip (Betty) Keysor, and his sister-in-law, Margie Keysor. He also leaves his nephew, James (Amy) Beebe and his nieces, Angela (Brian Miller) Keysor, Deanna Keysor, Laura (Brad) Berding, and Teresa Trinosky. He also leaves his great nieces, Madison, Samantha, and Kayla Beebe, Julia Trinosky and Olive Miller, and great nephews, Alexander Beebe, Charles, Drew, and Ben Berding. There will be no services. Interment will be at Edwards Grove Cemetery, Greenwich, Ohio.
