Obituary of Artin J. Aghabekian

Artin John Aghabekian was born on February 4th, 1961 to John Aghabekian and Lucy Khacherian in Amman, Jordan. He spent his childhood in the Armenian Quarter of Jerusalem. He graduated from St. George High School and later graduated Kent State University in Ohio. Artin married Cheryl Casto in 1985 and together they had John Aghabekian in 1991. He was a florist and passionate about plants and flowers. Artin spent time between his family in the U.S. and visiting his parents and sisters in Jerusalem. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Artin. He enjoyed evenings with friends and family. He enjoyed long walks, especially the ones he made inside the old city of Jerusalem. His pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met. He will be remembered for having a great sense of humor, beautiful smile, for his kindness and for his love to his family. Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 23 at Redmon Funeral Home in Stow, OH from 10 AM to 1 PM, with funeral service at 1 PM.
