Obituary of Shirlee J. Wright

SEBRING - Shirlee J. Wright, 85, formerly of Cuyahoga Falls, died April 28, 2021. Born in Cuyahoga Falls, Shirlee was a Girl Scout and a candy striper at Children’s Hospital in her younger years. A longtime member of The Chapel, she sang in the choir for many years and was active in women’s Bible studies. Shirlee also enjoyed her time volunteering with the Haven of Rest. Preceded in death by her son Richard T., brother Thomas Kemp and daughter-in-law Peggy Wright, she is survived by her husband David; sons David (Lynn) and Kevin; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother Jack “Jon” (Melanie) Kemp, and daughter-in-law Patty Wright. Private services at Redmon Funeral Home and burial at Oakwood Cemetery will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Haven of Rest, 175 E. Market Street, Akron 44308.
