Obituary of Cheryl L. Gambol

BRIMFIELD - Cheryl L. Gambol, 74, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. She was born November 9, 1946 in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Garfield High School in 1965. Cheryl lived in Brimfield since 1967 with her loving husband. She loved going for Sunday car rides and always stopping for ice cream, as well as bowling, cooking, having family get-togethers, family game nights, and playing cards. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports and always attended their special events. She was also a member of the Ohio Bottle Club. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Beatrice Stimpfel, siblings Betty, Joseph, Jr., and son-in-law, Joseph Cochran. She is survived, and sorely missed by, her loving husband, David Gambol of 56 years, children, David Gambol, II and Kimberly Cochran (Gambol). She was known as Mimi to Sierra, Brianna, Dominic, Xavier, Gabrielle, Liam, and all their friends. Siblings, Sheila (Larry) and James. She will be missed by her special niece, Debra Ann, LeeAnn Egan and other family members. The family will receive family and friends on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 5 to 7 PM with service immediately following at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224. Cheryl will be laid to rest at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield, Section 1981 ~ Lot 8.
